St Francis Shelter

Our mission at St. Francis Shelter is to bring homeless men together to live in community and, assisted by volunteers, to offer a variety of services to those in need in the local Tucson area.

We have been operating for 6 years with the support of Sacred Heart Parish, where we rent property. In late 2018, we established St Francis Shelter as a separate corporation. Services we provide to the local community include a food pantry twice a week, showers (via a shower truck) for the unhoused, a cooling center in the summer months, and soup & hot cocoa service in the winter months. We also provide temporary housing for men.
