St. John's Episcopal Church

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Mt. 22:36-39). St. John's Episcopal Church of Sonora is a welcoming community of Christ-followers who strive to serve God in our worship, fellowship, and outreach, that we may "take root downward and bear fruit upward" (Is. 37:31) through Christ to the glory of God & his kingdom.

"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2

All donations that St. John's Episcopal Church receives during the San Angelo Gives event will go directly toward outreach and ministry to those in need outside of our parish family. All donations received by St. John's will be used as outreach to help meet needs of residents of Sonora and Sutton County. Donations will be used by St. John's to provide direct assistance through existing or new local programs. In all cases, 100% of your donations will be used to help meet needs of our friends and neighbors in Sonora and Sutton County.
