St. Louis Christmas Carols Association

Our organization gives people in our community the opportunity to give twice: first, by sharing the gift of the music of the season with listeners; and second, by supporting area children's agencies with the donations collected.

All ages can participate, providing a community service opportunity even for children (kids helping kids).

Our groups carol in St. Louis City and County, Jefferson and St. Charles County.
All funds collected by caroling groups support basic needs and educational programs within our funded agencies.

In 2022, with the help of over 100 groups of carolers, we were able to provide assistance to the following agencies:

Our Legacy
The St. Louis Christmas Carols Association began in 1911, when William H. Danforth and a group of friends decided to bring joy and good will to their neighbors by caroling outside their homes. Initially, they did not plan to collect money, but found listeners gave money when they sang. Being philanthropic businessmen, they donated the funds to the Children's Aid Society, the organization's first beneficiary, to help underserved kids throughout the following year. Over the years, the number of recipients has grown; in 2022, our caroling collections supported 25 metro St. Louis area children's agencies!
