St. Louis Regional Clean Cities

A nonprofit organization

The St. Louis Regional Clean Cities program is a voluntary initiative sponsored by the U.S. Department of energy (DOE) to expand the commercial use of vehicles that operate with fuels other than petroleum-based gasoline and diesel. Using clean, domestic, alternative fuels will improve our air quality, reduce our dependence on imported oil and improve our economy.
this program has displaced 123,793,578 gallons of petroleum fuel and reduced GHG's by 945,127 since 2009. 10+ State and Federal DERA grants, plus other grants for labs, CMAQ, that have stimulated the economy and replaced high emitting emission vehicles and equipment. We cover Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois. Named Coordinator of the year in 2010 and inducted into the Department of Energy's Hall of Fame in 2011.
