Students of Service (SOS)

Students of Service (SOS) develop young leaders who have a global perspective to solve local problems. Our programs combine meaningful learning and local community service with informed international experiences. 

Through our life-changing travel programs, students build confidence, communication skills, leadership skills and learn new perspectives. Importantly, students also learn about themselves and how to find their path in life.

We are asking the community to come together to support travel scholarships for students who would otherwise be unable to afford these travel opportunities. Raising funds for student travel is consistently one of the most difficult things for our organization to fundraise for. We need your help. In the past 2 years, SOS has distributed more than $100,000 in travel scholarships to more than 30 deserving students. Our need for travel scholarships grows each year, and we are struggling to keep up with this amazing demand. Help us meet our goal in supporting every student that wants to experience international travel!

Summer of Service (SOS) is dedicated to education through service and travel by providing students with the opportunity to learn abroad in order to better their own communities and serve back home. We see a world in which all young people - no matter their background - believe in their power to make a positive difference in their communities.
