Sunshine Dog Rescue

Our mission is to rescue dogs from high kill shelters or unsafe conditions. We are committed to providing proper veterinary care, vaccinations, spay/neuter and rehabilitation to all dogs that come into our rescue and find them their new forever home. Sunshine Dog Rescue (SDR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Phoenix, AZ

SDR concentrates on medium to large dogs which are in high numbers at our county shelters. We work with medical, injured, pregnant and fearful dogs as we feel they deserve a chance to be loved and find a forever home. Every dog we have taken in since our inception had found a home and we keep in contact with many of our adopters to see how the family is doing.
