Swarthmore Public Library

Swarthmore Public Library's mission is to empower our community to Read, Meet, Discover and Grow. We offer a full range of services that enrich the lives of our residents from infants to seniors. The Swarthmore Public Library provides nearly $2.2 million of free services to Swarthmoreans and nearby residents each year.

Community support is integral to our ability to continue providing services and programs. Your gift will enable the library staff to continuously support our core mission of empowering our community through learning, collaboration, and enriching experiences.

It cost $332,101.41 to run the library in 2024. Only 73% of our revenue came from Government Sources. The other 27% of our funding comes from generous donors like you. You make a difference in the services we can offer.
