“One
day can make a big difference” - NH GIVES being held on June 10th –
11th

If you have ever thought about donating to your local
nonprofit, June 10th might just be the perfect opportunity. Starting
at 5pm on June 10th and running for 24 hours until 5pm on June 11th,
the Tapply-Thompson Community Center is asking for your support.  You can go online at
https://www.nhgives.org/organizations/tapply-thompson-community-center  and help send someone to Summer Camp, attend
a Sport Program, or help support one of our Public Benefit programs for
families in need.  One day can indeed
make a huge difference!

NH
GIVES has several special donation deals held throughout the 24-hour time
frame, where TTCC will receive either twice the donations from designated Match
Donors or Cash Prizes for such things as being t
he first one to
donate on June 10th @ 5:00pm or being the last one to donate on June
11th at 5:00pm.  If you would
like to be a Match Donor, please contact us at anytime before the event and let
us know what amount you would like to extend for a Match.  If someone pledges that amount, the Match
Donor will contribute that same amount, doubling the donation.

We have been working hard this year and are almost
finished with our major renovation and security installation project known as
‘A Safe Place to Call Home’. With the help of all our Community Partners and
Supporters we were able to install a building-wide security system, an ADA
compliant entrance and Lift to our program spaces, brand new offices, a new
gymnasium floor, four new bathrooms, a new music room, and so much more. We
will be holding an official ribbon cutting ceremony and open house in the
coming weeks, please stay tuned for the details, as we can’t wait to show you
our amazing progress!

We have also had record numbers for all our programs
including 241 summer camp registrants, over one hundred afterschool
participants, and 272 baseball and softball sign-ups. Our public benefit
programs Every Child is Ours and Operation Warm continue to see increased
demand, as we are delivering 154 food bags per week, and provided 142 children
with warm winter gear this past season. Our Westward Bound Teen Expedition
Project is in its 15th year and has taken close to 200 students on a
once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Western United States since we began in 2007.
The TTCC is able to do all this and more with your generous support. Please
donate today or during NH GIVES on June 10th and 11th.

Who We Are

The TTCC is a non-profit recreation department serving the needs of the Newfound Lake Region. Our mission is to provide recreational opportunities to the Newfound Region. We offer After School, Youth & Adult Sports, and Summer Day Camp Programs. In 2015 we provided $32,000 in scholarship funding to our local participants so that no child was denied an opportunity to participate in a recreation program. Visit our webpage at www.ttccrec.org to see the many amazing programs and activities that are offered in our 76 year old program.
