Tea Arts & Culture

Tea Arts and Culture (TAC) began the summer 2019 as a gathering of tea and nature lovers and artists in Prospect Park. Compelled to respond to a shifting world during the pandemic, our mission is to cultivate connections to ourselves, nature, and one another through sharing the art of tea. We believe that tea can nurture creativity, mindfulness, and community. 

We provide enriching arts & culture programmings that support emotional wellness, intergenerational connection, and cultural belonging across diverse communities. By partnering with parks, community gardens, senior centers, youth organizations, and cultural institutions, we work to address social isolation, disconnection from nature, and inequitable access to calming, reflective community spaces. We currently serve hundreds of community members each year through our Golden Tea, Nature Tea, Community Engagement Tea, and youth initiatives across New York City.
