GREATEST NEEDS FUND

The Texas Health Resources 365 Fund allows Texas Health to respond to pressing needs throughout our Health System. Funds can be allocated to enhance patient care, advance technology, provide staff training, upgrade facilities, or expand community initiatives.

TEXAS HEALTH COMMUNITY HOPE FUNDS

The Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program provides comprehensive care for victims of sexual assault and abuse. The program empowers survivors, preserves evidence for potential legal proceedings, and contributes to the healing and recovery process.

Texas Health Community Hope invests in community health improvement through a data-driven, collaborative approach that pinpoints specific zip codes to address social determinants of health.

Wellness for Life® Mobile Health Program plays a crucial role in providing no-cost health screenings to underserved residents throughout North Texas.

The THRIVE Program addresses food insecurity and provides school-based resiliency training and mental health support for students in underserved schools.

Health to Home Medical Respite provides vital medical recuperation services and wraparound social services to adults experiencing homelessness, in partnership with Austin Street Center.

Healthy Food Access tackles the problem of hunger and lack of nutritious foods in our North Texas communities. Programs include Good for You pantries, Double Up Food Bucks, School Learning Gardens, and more.

Executive Learning Communities are a one-of-a-kind opportunity for school district leaders to learn and collaborate on best practices to build and improve their school mental health systems. Texas Health is partnering with the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute to reach schools in high needs Zip codes areas throughout North Texas.

EDUCATION FUNDS

The Nursing Excellence Fund helps advance nursing excellence by providing scholarship and/or grant support to eligible nurses seeking funding for continuing education, conferences, baccalaureate and advanced degrees, and research.

The Graduate Medical Education General Fund enhances the educational experience for medical residents at Texas Health Fort Worth, Texas Health Dallas, Texas Health HEB, Texas Health Denton, and Texas Health Plano. Funds are used for conference scholarships, innovative research projects, faculty support, curriculum enhancements, modern technologies, and events that support the residents.

The Career Pathways Fund offers students right out of high school or individuals looking to start a career in healthcare a way to join the medical field in entry-level positions where they can earn while they learn through apprenticeship programs, and then move immediately into a job with Texas Health after completing their training.

HOSPITAL FUNDS

Hospital-Specific 365 Funds supports individual hospitals within the Texas Health system. The Fund allows the hospital to meet specific needs of its patients and staff. You may choose the hospital that you are interested in supporting.

The Texas Health Plano NICU Family Center strives to help lessen the stress of having a baby in the NICU. Texas Health Plano has the only Level IV NICU Unit in Collin County, which means it cares for the most critically ill babies in the area. The NICU Family Center offers the comforts of home while providing the complex care these babies need.

The Patterson Family Simulation Center at Texas Health Denton provides a hands-on learning environment that can be used by nurses, medical residents, physicians, ambulatory personnel, and firefighters. With life-like mannequins that can be programmed to simulate a variety of chronic and emergency medical situations, the simulation center helps care teams hone their skills and stay up to date on important procedures.

The Texas Health Denton Maternal Health Fund provides pregnant patients who are at risk of developing pre-eclampsia with no-cost blood pressure monitors for home use.

Texas Health Arlington Memorial Breast Center serves more than 9,000 women annually through a range of services, including screening mammograms, ultrasounds, radiology, and more. Gifts to this fund will support the renovation of the Breast Center, allowing us to serve more patients and improve their experience.
