For over 60 years, The Arc Susquehanna Valley has proudly served Northumberland, Snyder, Union, Montour, and Columbia counties, championing awareness, opportunities, quality programs, and advocacy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Drive To Accessibility 

Our programs continue to evolve, and we’re excited to share about one of our latest additions: adaptable bicycles that ensure everyone can experience the joy of a bike ride. But we’re not stopping there. Accessible transportation is our next big goal, and with your support, we can break down barriers and open up new opportunities for everyone to thrive.

Accessible transportation is one of the biggest barriers the individuals we serve face. Our Drive to Accessibility initiative aims to break down transportation barriers by raising the funds needed to purchase a multi-wheelchair accessible van for our programs and events. A vehicle of this size, equipped with essential accommodations, comes with a significant cost—but its impact will be life changing to the people we serve.
