The Center for Women and Families

The Center for Women and Families provides trauma-informed advocacy and support for individuals, families, and communities affected by intimate partner violence and sexual assault.

We serve Jefferson, Bullitt, Shelby, Henry, Oldham, Trimble, and Spencer counties in Kentucky, as well as Clark and Floyd counties in Southern Indiana. Our services are free, safe, and confidential. We co-create violence-free lives through crisis response 24 hours/day, 365 days/year, emergency shelter, sexual assault services, including forensic exams and therapy, mobile advocacy, housing, and children’s services.

The Give for Good 2024 goal is $50,000 for individualized counseling, housing, meals, and personal supplies for the individuals and families we serve. Help bring hope and healing to families experiencing violence with a gift to the Center today!
