The Factory Ministries

A nonprofit organization

$505,178 raised by 833 donors

Our story begins in 1994 when three churches, all of different denominations (Paradise Mennonite, Bible Fellowship, Calvary Monument), surveyed the PVSD community to find the greatest need facing residents. Their question, ‘How can we help? has been the catalyst for all we do at The Factory to this day.

In 2006, The Factory Ministries was born, expanding to an organization that provides social services for people of all ages and programs to empower the whole family. As advocates for collaboration, we do this in partnership with local schools, townships, churches, and other community-based organizations.

Today we serve over 3,000 people annually through our services and programs.

Thank you for investing in the future of Eastern Lancaster County.

The Factory Ministries addresses poverty differently than most organizations. We believe poverty is more than a lack of money—it’s financial, relational, emotional, physical, spiritual, and intellectual. That’s why we go beyond temporary fixes to build long-term solutions rooted in relationships.

Our approach is about empowerment, not enablement. We walk alongside individuals and families, connecting them to resources, equipping them with tools, and encouraging them every step of the way. Whether through the Factory Market, youth and family advocacy, housing support, or community partnerships, we provide dignity and hope in the midst of struggle.

Guided by the love of Jesus, we embrace people in every life stage with compassion and truth, while collaborating with schools, churches, and local organizations to create a stronger, more connected Lancaster County.
