The High School of Saint Thomas More

The High School of Saint Thomas More exists to assist parents in forming students spiritually, morally, intellectually and physically in a Christ-centered atmosphere of love, respect and reverence consistent with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, sending them forth to fulfill their baptismal call as His disciples in the world.

STM was founded by a group of dedicated parents and community members who desired a Catholic high school in Champaign-Urbana with the blessing of the Diocese of Peoria and the former Archbishop John J. Myers. The high school opened its doors officially on August 24, 2000. Since that day, STM has produced over 1300 alumni who have all gone to make their mark in the world. STM is the only Catholic high school in Champaign County.
