Who We Are

The Majestic Theatre, founded in 1990 by a passionate group who wanted to have affordable, family-oriented theatre productions right here in their own community. 27 years later The Majestic has grown into one of NH's most prolific community theatres. 12 - 15 productions are presented annually including dinner theatres, mainstage plays and musical as well as productions by children and teens. In addition to productions the Majestic provides summer theatre camps, workshops, classes and private music lessons under the Ted Herbert Music School. The Majestic brings theatre and music into the lives of 15,000 individuals each year.

In December 2016 The Majestic Theatre and its Ted Herbert Music School relocated to a new location in Manchester. Their long-term, leased facility houses 9 lesson studios, rehearsal and meeting rooms, offices, costume and prop storage and a 160 seat theatre. Over $40K of renovations was done to make this space into a welcoming and optimal venue for instruction and enjoyment of arts and music by people of all ages.
