The Nest - Center for Women, Children & Families

The Nest's mission is to help prevent the abuse and neglect of children and adults by supporting families in crisis through education, counseling, advocacy and support. Having provided high-quality resources to families for more than 40 years, we are committed to responding to the challenges facing our community. The Nest is a lifeline for families- regardless of what family looks like for you. Our holistic approach incorporates four free programs: family assistance for basic human needs, education and support for parents, counseling and advocacy for survivors of intimate partner abuse, and early childhood education through flexible childcare. We are proud to offer support in English and Spanish. The Nest focuses on family stabilization and healthy outcomes, reaching thousands of parents, survivors, and children each year.

Who We Are

The Nest - Center for Women, Children and Families is now entering it's 40th year of helping women, children and families in crisis. We have four programs that work concurrently to help the whole family. The focus of The Nest's programs center on the prevention of child abuse & neglect and stabilization of the the family unit. Our four programs: Domestic Violence Counseling, Parent Education and Support, Emergency Needs Assistance & Case Management, and Respite Child Care empower families to make important changes to improve the health, wellbeing and safety of parents and children.
