Who We Are

The Noel Pointer Foundation is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit with a 25-year track record of tackling racial and economic barriers that have historically limited access in the field of classical music. The Noel Pointer Foundation is grounded in the belief that every child deserves access to the life-changing benefits of music education, regardless of zip code or skin color. Through its year-round on-campus and in-school strings programming, NPF connects NYC youth across the five boroughs with professional music education and performance opportunities citywide, changing lives through the transformative power of learning an instrument.
