The Pink Peppermint Project

A nonprofit organization

Pink Peppermint Project is a non-profit organization that serves breast cancer
survivors, thrivers, and caregivers in our community. Our mission is to provide
programs, resources, and services implementing our MINT model Motivate,
Inspire, Nurture, and Transform using the power of beauty and community to
enhance the quality of life. As the state or local government does not subsidize
our programs, we rely entirely on donations received from benevolent
community members and businesses. It is our ultimate goal to make breast
cancer a non-life threatening disease through awareness, advocacy, and
education. Since 2017, Pink Peppermint Project has sent over 1000 Mint with
Love boxes to women battling cancer in all 50 states and ten countries globally.
We've raised $20,000 in donations, hosted 12 events including 3
G.L.A.M.C.O.N. events, provided mastectomy clothing, and cranial prosthesis to
4 patients. We have touched dozens of breast cancer warriors through our
partnerships with local hospitals and non-profit organizations. The great thing is
we're just getting started. Your actions such as, attending events, passing out
information, rallying your friends, and donating money are tremendous
collective work our community does together. Together we're a mighty force for
change. I have committed to raise $50,000 in donations to fund our wellness
programs and send out 2000 Mint with Love Boxes by September 1, 2020, to
hospitals and treatment centers.‚Äã Funding will also be employed to educate
public health and raise awareness in disadvantaged areas in Dallas, Texas and
surrounding cities

Our Needs

The most urgent goal of the program is to maintain the Pink Peppermints capacity to serve its current population by purchasing the necessary equipment and products for the comfortable beauty and wellness care of breast cancer patients. The Pink Peppermint Project currently has a need for donations (clothing, accessories, wigs, cosmetics, and financial) and volunteers and guest speakers.
