The PLEASE Foundation provides mentoring , leadership training, & scholarships to at-risk students in New Orleans. The Foundation provides all the tools necessary for students to attend and succeed in college preparatory high schools. The ultimate goal is for each student to be accepted into college and achieve their greatest potential. On Give NOLA Day, we honor Joseph Schmidt's memory by raising money to give the gift of college preparatory education to an at-risk child.

Currently the PLEASE Foundation provides mentoring , leadership training, & scholarships to 21 at-risk students to attend college preparatory high schools in New Orleans. 100% of our 2014-2025 graduates were accepted into college. We are excited to announce The PLEASE Foundation currently has 23 college graduates, 27 students currently attending college, 56 High School Graduates, 3 students serving in the military, 1 nurse and 2 nursing students. PLEASE students also volunteer in the community as a group. The Foundation provides Student Support Services for each student to achieve their greatest potential. Student support services include: leadership training, mentoring, tutoring, books and supplies, uniforms, Senior rings, school lunch, transportation, counseling, ACT prep classes, and assistance in the college application process.
