The Academy of Palm Desert Community Presbyterian Church

The mission of the Academy of Palm Desert Community Presbyterian Church is to provide a safe, nurturing educational environment, which exposes children to the love of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ as it provides them with a foundation of academic, artistic, physical, and social challenges that will prepare them for success in school.

The Academy of Palm Desert Community Presbyterian Church believes our Christian-based early childhood program provides a secure environment that promotes the spiritual, cognitive, social, physical, and emotional development of children and their families.

We encourage the growth of a loving relationship with Jesus Christ by modeling, teaching, and practicing age-appropriate components of spiritual development.

Our curriculum and policies are inclusive, and unbiased and reflect the diversity of children and their families in our community and the world around us.

We feel that young children function best in a consistent program with small group sizes and a familiar caregiver. Warm, positive relationships with adults help children develop a sense of trust and feelings of self-worth. Because a child's experience at the Academy is supplemental to their home experience, we feel very strongly that staff, families, and the church work together in order to encourage optimal development. When we are all working toward a common goal, the children's sense of security, self-confidence, and individual worth will surely blossom.

We strive to provide the highest quality program possible for young children and their families. The giving of careful attention to detail by every member of the staff means that your child's well-being is exceptionally looked after. The Academy at Palm Desert Presbyterian has been the most wonderful environment for my son. He has been at the school for two years, during which he has blossomed and come into his own.
