The Fetch Foundation

The Fetch Foundation is dedicated to saving lives in the animal and human communities through our innovative strategies and unique programs that support and equip first responders.

The Fetch Foundation has 2 powerful programs. First we have been providing life saving equipment to our first responders called the FIDO bags. FIDO Bags aide the first responder to assist with a pet or working K9 on site and provides their best chance of survival. Fetch has been donating Fido Bags to fire stations, police K9 units and search and rescue teams for the past 10 years. Our goal is to provide every station in the nation with a Fido Bag.
Our second program is Homeless 2 Hero where we rescue a dog and give them a job. After a thorough evaluation we determine if the dog's temperament and skills can be trained to become a Service K9 aiding physically or emotionally challenged children or adults. Some of our rescued heroes go into Therapy work with first-responders alleviating some of the incredible stress of the job. Both Police and Fire have benefited from our amazing K9's across the nation. Search and Rescue candidates are found right in our own shelters. While their behavior may have gotten them there it could be exactly what we are looking for! Our SAR K9's have been placed with FEMA, Wilderness and Urban Teams.
