The Gentry Foundation for Autism's mission is to ensure that all Arizona children with autism have access to critical autism diagnoses and related services, knowing that early intervention is the key to more purposeful educational experiences and a higher quality of life. Our programs are primarily available to low income and under-insured families with a child age 5 or under.
We offer three meaningful programs to support these goals:
1. Early Identification Through Diagnosis
The Gentry Foundation focuses on identifying children who may be impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as early as possible. Through this program we provide free, high-quality evaluations for young children from low-income and under-insured families across Arizona. These evaluations, performed by a network of vetted pediatric psychologists, are crucial in diagnosing autism spectrum disorders, and ensuring that children can begin accessing the intervention services they need at as early an age as possible, setting them up for the best developmental and lifelong outcomes.
2. 1:1 Direct Family Liaison Support
Once a child receives an ASD diagnosis, families are offered one-on-one support from a dedicated family liaison. This program provides parents with direct coaching and guidance on how to navigate the process of accessing services for their child. The liaison helps families identify and connect with additional resources and support networks, ensuring they have the tools and information needed to advocate for their child’s needs effectively.
3. Free Resources For All
The Gentry Foundation offers a wealth of free, accessible resources designed to support families and caregivers of children with autism. These resources, available on our website and YouTube channel, include educational videos, helpful articles, and other tools for understanding autism and navigating various intervention strategies.
Throughout all our programs The Gentry Foundation aims to provide caregivers with valuable resources and practical information which can be used to enhance their child’s development and navigate the challenges of an autism diagnosis.
