The Hive Community Circle

About Us

Since 2015, The Hive Community Circle has walked alongside survivors across South Carolina, providing culturally specific, survivor driven support for those impacted by sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking. Founded to close gaps in care for underserved communities, The Hive exists to ensure survivors are met with dignity, compassion, and meaningful pathways toward healing.

In 2025, the organization faced an unexpected loss of public funding that threatened critical services. Our community responded with incredible generosity and resolve, helping raise more than $559,000 and surpass our $300,000 goal. Together, we closed the funding gap, eliminated organizational debt, and secured a stronger foundation for the future. Because of this support, survivors continued receiving advocacy, counseling, prevention education, and essential resources without interruption, including through the launch of Casita of Care, our community pantry.

Today, The Hive is stepping into a new chapter focused on growth, sustainability, and deeper impact. We are strengthening programs, expanding partnerships, and building long term solutions that support healing and resilience across our communities.
