The LID Life Community

Since its inception, the dedicated volunteers in this group have contacted over 1,000 manufacturers and restaurants in four countries to find "safe" food for these patients to eat while on this diet and maintain a living document of these foods. They have also distributed information to over 50 doctors treating thyroid conditions - all to make this process easier for those who must endure it. Thousands of volunteer hours have been spent not only on this research, but the support provided via the group's social and digital channels.

Our Needs

Each year, we have representation at conferences (e.g. American Thyroid Association) and we need financial support to continue to offer printed educational material and website upkeep to build our brand awareness with medical professionals across the country and world to ensure that as many patients going through this diet have access to the information we research.
