Therapeutic Harp Foundation

Our Mission is to deliver the power of live therapeutic harp music in healthcare settings.

In 2019 our certified therapeutic harpists delivered live therapeutic harp music to over 195,000 patients, caregivers, and professional medical staff in the 25 healthcare facilities throughout the Valley. In 2019 our harpists delivered 1,940 hours of live therapeutic harp music. We are still the only therapeutic harp program in Arizona, and our Program Director is a member of the National Standards Board for Therapeutic Musicians.

In 2020 are beginning three new research projects at Phoenix Children's Hospital, Dignity St. Joseph's Hospital, and Celebration Stem Cell Centre.

Currently, we have 7 certified therapeutic harpists who serve in the following facilities: Dignity Health St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, Hospice of the Valley Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center (including their new Trauma 1 Unit), Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, Banner Del E. Webb, Banner Cardon Children's Hospital, Honor Health Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center, Phoenix Children's Hospital, Barrow Neurological Institute, La Siena Assisted Living Facility, Friendship Village, Lund Family Hospice Home, Sherman Home, Surprise Palliative Care Unit, and Thunderbird Palliative Care Unit.
