The Source LGBT+ Center

The Source LGBT+ Center creates safe spaces for LGBTQ+ people here in the rural, conservative Central Valley of California. Our grassroots-led center is only 7 years old yet we have already made a lasting impact on the community we serve. We are the largest LGBTQ+ led organization for 50 miles serving Trans people, people living with HIV, LGBTQ+ youth, and the general LGBTQ+ population. Our center encompasses Trans, Youth, Mental Health, Recovery, and HIV programs all directed toward uplifting our LGBTQ+ community here in the Central Valley.

Give OUT Day is a national day & month of giving for all LGBTQ+ non-profit organizations. This period of radical generosity has allowed The Source to fund lifesaving HIV programs, support our trans and non-binary community, and give our youth a safe space. The Source is the only LGBT+ Center in Central California providing AIDS Drug Assistance (ADAP).  We serve youth, elders, people living with HIV, trans folx, and our LGBTQ+ community and allies in a very conservative, and sometimes hostile area. We provide support groups, counseling, food boxes, and other essentials for safety and wellness. Moreover, we've been a progressive link for Tulare, Kings, and Fresno Counties, providing health information, education, and needed entertainment through our LGBTQ+ events. But we need your help to continue.
