Transforming the Lives of Teens

Thrive is an existing program for middle school aged teens that provides character development through the tenets of health, wellness, and career readiness. Weekly programming is thematic and revolves around a specific character trait from the curriculum. Character formation is achieved by teaching life skills that encourage positive behavior and skills for adapting to the challenges of life. Physical fitness and recreational activities develop healthy habits, motor skills, and teamwork. Finally, professional counselors lead "Transformation Groups" to help teens refine coping skills and equip them to thrive personally, socially, and academically.
