TJC offers many opportunities to help students reach their educational goals. We encourage you to support students through giving that is meaningful to you. This East Texas Giving Day, we are highlighting diverse giving opportunities to support students in the ways they need it most.
1. TJC NOW: TJC NOW provides immediate emergency support for students, faculty, and programs when other resources are not available. TJC NOW helps to ensure that students
successfully pursue and complete their college education; faculty continue to provide exceptional educational opportunities; and legacy academic and enrichment programs offer an
excellent comprehensive collegiate experience.
2. General Scholarships Fund: Scholarships are awarded to ensure access and remove financial barriers, helping students to achieve their dreams and transform their lives through higher
education. With 60% of TJC's full time students requiring financial assistance to pursue and complete a college education, scholarships are a priority for TJC and the Tyler Junior College
Foundation.
3. TJC PATHway to Comfort Food Pantry: A partnership between TJC and PATH, the PATHway to Comfort Food Pantry provides food security and helps address the essential needs of our
students. This service is available to all students on an as-needed basis.
4. The 1926 Fund: Tyler Junior College was founded on September 17, 1926, with a mission to improve the lives of East Texans by providing access to higher education close to home and
offering educational opportunities to ensure a stronger community. The 1926 Fund was established to support priorities so that the College continues to be responsive in serving
student and community success. If you aren't sure which specific program you would like to support, make a contribution to the 1926 Fund to be used wherever it is most needed.
Whichever program you choose to support, your gift will help ensure the success of TJC students!
