Town of Veteran Historical Society

The Town of Veteran Historical Society was formed in early 2006 consisting of 3 community members wishing to promote and preserve the history of their town. These town historians wanted to ensure that a society was formed and available for townsfolk and anyone else interested in taking part in preserving our towns history. The first meeting took place January 13, 2007 at the Veteran Grange 1108. 

The Town of Veteran Historical Society became a Chartered organization in April 2015 and a 501c3 tax exempt organization in June 2016 and now has expanded to 50 members. In cooperation with the Veteran Grange 1108 members, the 100 year old grange building was gifted to the Society to preserve the building and have a place to open a museum to promote our community history. Through dedicated volunteers, the Society has started to make necessary improvements to the building to continue our visions. The monies we expend are all through volunteerism and fund raising. We appreciate our community and all the people who have helped us in our endeavors.
