Trellis is dedicated to making stable homes and communities possible through educating, building and lending. For 46 years, Trellis has been committed to advancing equity in housing in Arizona by securing equal housing opportunities for all and helping underserved communities achieve generational wealth and the American dream through homeownership. Our Vision is an Arizona where everyone has a place to call home.

Trellis (previously NHS) has been serving our community for 46 years. We take a holistic approach to a systemic problem in access to housing and we provide free 1:1 home ownership counseling, group classes on site and online, home loans, down payment assistance for those who qualify, foreclosure prevention services, and real estate services. We are also an affordable housing homebuilder that is building communities that are growing in scope and scale to meet the need for affordable housing for Maricopa County's underserved populations.
In our history, Trellis has educated and counseled over 47,000 people, created nearly 3900 homebuyers and financed over $155MM. Regardless of income, education or background, we help individuals and families across Arizona have a place to call home.
AZ Gives Day is taking place during national Fair Housing Month. In this moment of unprecedented crisis, fair housing and affordable housing are important now more than ever and Trellis needs your support. Fair housing requires more than words-it requires action.
Housing discrimination still exists as we live in a country where families are denied a place to call home because of the color of their skin or where they come from, landlords refuse disabled tenants to own service animals, or people still being denied a place to live because of who they love.
