Tri-City Youth Ice Hockey Association

A nonprofit organization

The Tri-City Youth Ice Hockey Association promotes an atmosphere of fair play and fun that supports progressive skills development, encourages continued participation, and teaches the game of hockey to players, coaches and parents regardless of their background or financial status.

Founded in the year 2000, the Tri-City Youth Ice Hockey Association is a non-profit organization made up of kids ages 3 through seniors in high school, families, coaches, and a volunteer board of directors from Nebraska's Tri-Cities and surrounding areas. Our association has six different age divisions per USA Hockey and offers a recreational level house program and a competitive travel program. We are based out of Kearney, NE, and utilize the Viaero Center.

Testimonials

"Hockey is so much more than just a game--it's the epitome of teamwork. It not only teaches discipline and respect, but also creates life-long friendships (both players and parents). We've been extremely fortunate to have amazing coaches (who are all volunteers) that make this sport possible in our area and they deserve a great deal of credit for the success of our players. When our son started hockey at the age of 5, he immediately fell in love with the game and we have never looked back. If you ever get a chance to watch these kids play, I highly encourage you to. The skill level and passion some of them possess is amazing and they are a lot of fun to watch!" ~ Buffy Bader
