Tuscarora Lapidary Society, Inc.

The Tuscarora Lapidary Society (TLS) is non-profit educational corporation and Pennsylvania Purely Public Charity organized to encourage and teach the science and art of lapidary (the cutting and polishing of gemstones) and other related lapidary and jewelry arts.

We have over 150 members, from teens to seniors, brought together by a common interest in creating beautiful items from rocks and minerals. TLS is one of the largest lapidary societies in the eastern US and one of the few with an education facility in which members share their knowledge with others who wish to learn about the lapidary and jewelry arts. 

General Meetings are held on a monthly basis except for summer months either in person or via ZOOM. Programs include silent auctions, speakers or demonstrations and are open to the public. 

Our 55th Annual Gem and Mineral Show,  GEMARAMA 2025, will be held on November 1, 10am-6pm and November 2, 10am-5pm in Hall D of the Greater Philadelphia EXPO Center, 100 Station Ave., Oaks, PA. The show features demonstrations, exhibits, children’s activities and dealers selling minerals, gems, beads, jewelry, tools and more. Visit our website, www.lapidary.org for more information.
