The Wilderness Experience

The Wilderness Experience (TWE) men's ministry is dedicated to revealing to our travelers the men they must be in their relationship with Christ and in their service to their families using a biblical curriculum and the rugged conditions encountered during an extended stay in the remote wilderness.

The Wilderness Experience ministry takes men to some of the most beautiful sites the world has to offer. While backpacking in the remote and rugged wilderness, participants are guided through a Biblical curriculum that reinforces who they are in Christ and how God has called them to lead as men. Participants return home with a newfound purpose to lead, but they need continued support from their new brothers.

The Wilderness Experience Base Camp and Chapel provides a staffed location for alumni to stay in community so they can further their faith, lead their families, become disciplined in their finances, serve their fellowman, and improve their fitness. It's a safe haven for alumni and men who need prayer, fellowship, Biblical instruction, and support. Alumni have a space to maintain their passion to serve Christ, and future participants use Base Camp to prepare for their trip.
