Two Chihuahuas Rescue

Our 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue specializes in saving animals in most critical need who are facing unnecessary euthanasia in our local shelters. We provide them a safe, loving and enriching environment as we work to rehabilitate them and ultimately help them become adoptable. From there, we strive to find their most perfect forever homes.

Since opening in June 2020, we have quickly realized that the greatest rescue need here in Maricopa County lies in helping the animals in most critical condition. For every animal we take in, we fully commit to providing every medical or behavioral resource he/she needs. We average $1,000+ in expenses per animal we've rescued. In just this first quarter of 2022, we have taken in 34 animals and have provided over $60,000 in rehabilitation resources (i.e. orthopedic surgeries, oncology plans, behavior training, and more).

We have worked closely with national organizations for trafficked women, successfully training and matching one of our rescue pups with a survivor. We have adopted multiple dogs to veterans and men and women who have served our country. We are currently a foster-based, 501(c)(3) volunteer rescue organization. We are coming up on just two years since opening our "doors", and while we are proud of the impact we have made thus far, (and the 170+ lives we have saved!), we feel that we are just getting going. We can't wait to see what the future has in store for our lifesaving rescue work.
