Tyler Area Public Service Foundation

Tyler Area Public Service Foundation (T.A.P.s) mission is to compassionately serve and uplift our community through meaningful initiatives and support. We are dedicated to fostering positive change by addressing the diverse needs of individuals, families, and businesses regardless of background or circumstance. Our focus extends to promoting education, health, and well-being cultivating environments where every individual can thrive and reach their full potential.

Tyler Area Public Service Foundation (T.A.P.s) was established in 2024 to provide resources and support to individuals in Smith County. Our mission is dedicated to enhancing the lives of community members by offering resources, sponsoring activities, and fostering opportunities for growth and development.

Recently, we hosted an economic event called "Standing on Business" that provided free economic resources to small business owners. As part of the event, we organized a pitch competition where a local small business won $5,000 to enhance their networking and business opportunities within Smith County. The second annual Standing on Business event is scheduled for September of 2025.

Our goal is to raise funds that will be used to sponsor events and initiatives that promote collaboration, connection, and economic growth in Smith County to include offering scholarships and grants to community members and organizations

As a newly established foundation, we are committed to making a lasting impact by supporting initiatives that empower individuals and contribute to the overall well-being of our community.
