Being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes can feel overwhelming, bringing challenges you never expected and emotions that are difficult to process. The Tyler Type One Diabetes community is here to support you. None of us chose to be part of this journey, but since we are, we're in it together. Our mission is to build a strong, lasting support system for everyone in Tyler living with Type 1 diabetes.

Tyler Type One provides vital support, education, and resources to the East Texas Type 1 diabetes community.

Through monthly support groups, children, teens, adults, and families connect, share experiences, and find encouragement. The Blessing Basket program offers newly diagnosed families essential supplies and personal support, easing the transition.

Diabetes 101 classes equip families with the knowledge to manage Type 1 confidently, reducing health risks. The annual Run for One 5K and awareness events educate the public, helping to prevent misdiagnosis and save lives.

From life-changing friendships to essential resources, Tyler Type One continues to create a lasting and vibrant support system that strengthens the local Type 1 diabetes community.
