Unchained Realities Inc

Founded in 2013 Unchained Realities, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to revolutionizing the lives of youth, aged 13-24, in the New Orleans area by providing quality educational resources, healthy initiatives, sports activities, E-sports and job skills training. Unchained Realities, Inc. is the only organization in the New Orleans area that offers this array of resources to the youth. The main objective is to allow youth the opportunity to realize there are no boundaries on what they can achieve in life.

Unchained Realites founded in 2013, a local nonprofit, has partnered with the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC) to enhance recreational opportunities for youth by introducing esports labs at two NORDC facilities. This initiative is supported by New Orleans City Councilman Freddie King, who secured funding for the development of these esports labs.

History- Established to meet the growing interest in video games and electronics among today's youth, NOLA Grown has quickly become a pivotal organization in the community. The nonprofit aims to leverage the popularity of gaming to keep kids engaged, off the streets, and provide them with educational and job opportunities.

Accomplishments- Recently, Unchained Realites Inc, and NORDC have established 3 gaming hubs at the Milne Rec Center, Cutoff Center and Lyons Center. These hubs offer controlled programming 4-5 days a week after school, and on Saturdays. The program also incorporates summer camps, providing a structured and engaging environment for youth. Additionally, the Generation Esports Rising Champions coursework has been highly beneficial for students, thanks to the support from Intel Corporation
