The Unforgettables Foundation

"The mission of The Unforgettables Foundation is to assist at risk and grieving families with finances to help them afford a timely and dignified funeral for their child." The mission of The Unforgettables Foundation (TUF) is based upon the belief that every child is unforgettable and in crisis and tragedy deserving of a timely and dignified burial. The mission is to assist all qualified requests from families in San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange Counties who are struggling with the cost.

The Unforgettables Foundation is a 25-year old unique volunteer-driven cause that has assisted over 10,000 Inland Empire at-risk families with burial monies for their children. TUF does one primarily responsive target mission, plus actively educating/equipping leaders and families to safeguard our children from the dangers that would lead to death and reactively supply emergency burial funds. Founder, Tim Evans was the Chaplain at the Loma Linda Children's Hospital, and the cause, which has been described by E-How as the oldest, most-established and comprehensive charity in this unique sector, is now founded and forming outside of California, in Nevada, Ohio, Michigan, New Mexico, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ontario, Canada. The cause has received numerous awards. TUF was selected as the California State Senate Charity of the Year 2019/20.



TUF has a specific mission, to act and respond when called upon for funding assistance for the funeral of a child from 23 weeks gestation to 18 years old. The charity works daily in all school systems, all county social service agencies, the courts, all first responders, all hospitals and health systems, all places of worship, all service clubs and child-focused charities, and throughout the mortuary community. This is a one-of-kind niche that survives through the generosity of foundations, individuals, clubs, corporations and businesses, county officials, and tribal organizations. The Unforgettables Foundation operates a lean program with only one full-time employee and two part-time employees and successfully meets an unmet need, serving an average of over 200 cases per year.
