A Century of Hope: United Charities Children's Home for Boys

For over one hundred years, United Charities Children's Home for Boys has stood as a beacon of hope in our community—the longest-established nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming young lives ranging in age form 6-21 years old. What began as a simple mission to provide shelter has evolved into something far more profound: a place where broken childhoods are mended and futures are rebuilt, one boy at a time.

The children who arrive at our doors carry stories that no child should bear. They come from situations of neglect, abuse, and abandonment, their trust in the world shattered before they've had a chance to truly experience it. Some arrive with nothing more than the clothes on their backs, their eyes holding the weight of experiences far beyond their years. Yet within these walls, something remarkable happens—healing begins.

At United Charities, we understand that providing a roof and three meals a day, while essential, is only the beginning. Our mission extends far beyond meeting basic needs.
