University City Education Foundation

For the first time, UCEF (University City Education Foundation) is participating "Give 8/28” — the only nationwide giving day by and for Black-led organizations. Please help us make this kick off campaign a success by donating between August 26 and 28 this month. UCEF raises critical funds to allow U. City teachers and staff to create additional programs and projects outside of what the district can fund. For example, during the last school year, we facilitated funding for sustainable gardening at the middle school, the first national robotics finals competition that 5th-8th grade students had qualified for, and orchestra musicians who provide small group chamber music classes for our high school music students. Donations to UCEF make this possible. Please consider making a donation on "Give 28” day. Any amount makes a significant difference in our ability to provide U. City students with the very best education.  

ABOUT UCEF: The University City Education Foundation is an agent for excellence in the University City public schools, stimulating innovative, exciting approaches to education, with measurable results, that can be broadly applied. The Foundation will accomplish this by raising and distributing private funds, engaging the community in school issues, and collaborating closely at each step with our public schools.

The University City Public Schools Education Foundation, Inc., was established in 1996 to enhance the educational program in the School District of University City, Missouri. By involving the community and attracting private funds to supplement state, federal, and local revenues, the Foundation provides support for the development of enrichment programs and services which can help make the difference between a very good education and an excellent one.
