At the heart of every person is a desire to know and to be known. At Valor, we believe a truly human education addresses our deepest longings—to live in authentic communities, to have meaningful friendships, and to grow in wisdom and virtue. Our K-12 tuition-free classical charter schools have a singular vision: to educate the whole person in authentic communities for a full human life. We are a community of friends seeking that which is noble and inviting students into that life. A Valor education is about much more than college and career readiness. It is an invitation to live the fullest life possible, one directed by wisdom, animated by wonder, and anchored in friendship.

We need your help to continue this noble endeavor! Our unique fundraising goal for The Big Give 2025 is $28,500! Why not $20,000, or $25,000? Thank you for asking. We have 19 classes at Valor San Antonio this year.

As a charter school, we receive approximately $2,000 less per student than the average ISD which makes it challenging to attract, compensate, and reward our dedicated teachers. To bridge this funding gap, we ask for parent partnership to Invest in the Vision with a suggested annual gift of $1,500 ($125 per month). Because not every family can make this annual or monthly gift, Our Big Goal for The Big Give is to bridge the gap—$1,500—for one student per class—19 classes—to achieve our goal of $28,500. Together, we can recruit, train, and retain excellent teachers; together we can keep our student-to-teacher ratios as low as possible; together we can support our ability to offer a wide range of programs and extracurricular activities.
