The Van ISD Education Foundation

The Van ISD Education Foundation, in partnership with our community, provides resources to the Van Independent School District to enhance opportunities for educational excellence for all students, enabling them to become life-long learners and valuable members of society.

The Foundation will achieve its mission by directing resources toward the following goals:
-Encourage all students to work to their highest potential
-Support staff for innovative teaching ideas
-Build community awareness for the Van ISD Education Foundation
-Inspire parents, community members, and businesses to partner with the school district to enhance education

The Van ISD Education Foundation is run by a board of directors who are educators, parents, school personnel, and community members in Van ISD. Our goal is to provide classroom and campus grants as well as scholarships for our teachers and graduating seniors. In 2022, the Van ISD Education Foundation funded $33,000 in classroom and campus grants, as well as $15,000 in scholarships for graduating seniors. We are adding in a scholarship program for teacher certification and continuing education for teachers in 2023.
