Empowering our youth to make a difference in their communities and their world through community service

Volunteer Nebraska is a web - based organization that offers a recognition program for youth, preschool to high school, free of charge to all communities in Nebraska. We provide the framework, time sheets, planning tools and award templates to assist all communities in Nebraska. We want to see more Youth Advisory Boards being created throughout the state. Encourage these young leaders to shadow their city council members or serve on committees. They can help their public library or any community organization. It is important to give youth a voice and to have them feel valued by their community. One day, they will take the lead; why not let their leadership begin now!

Our vision is to create an endowment fund that will provide financial support for community service projects. The earnings from this fund will be distributed through mini-grants. Our children will learn project planning, budgeting & teamwork.
