Victim Witness Services for Northern Arizona

We envision a just, equitable world in which all people are safe and free to be their fully realized selves in communities rooted in love, dignity and joy. The mission of Victim Witness Services is to be a source of healing, empathy and support to people and communities that have experienced trauma.

Victim Witness Services for Northern Arizona (VWS) was founded in 1984 by a group of Flagstaff volunteers who identified the need for a Crisis Response Team. 35 years later, the need for crisis response and advocacy in northern Arizona still remains.

We provide services that are trauma-informed, restorative, and holistic in order to empower individuals affected by crime and crisis.

Services include Case Management, Court Advocacy, Crisis Counseling, Victim Compensation, our Pets, Too! program, Coordination of Services, and 24/7 Crisis Response.
