Willissae's Agency for Vision and Empowerment

We create housing and economic stability for at risk individuals in low-income communities through personal empowerment, skill set development, problem solving and wealth building.

In 2021, WAVE served 355 individuals. 201 clients received housing counseling; 154
participated in our renters' eviction prevention program and none of the 154 were evicted.
Eight clients purchased homes in 2021. Out of our 201 clients who completed housing
counseling, all 201 completed financial counseling; 109 (54%) increased savings/wealth; and
148 (74%) improved their credit scores. WAVE also made essential service connections for 65
individuals so that they could receive enhanced support and resources.
