The Wesley Foundation of San Antonio

The Wesley Foundation of San Antonio offers a welcoming ministry filled with purpose and joy. Our goal is to help students grow spiritually and put God’s love into action in the world. 

The San Antonio Wesley reaches the mission field of college students across the city of San Antonio. Wesley is currently present in ministry on three campuses: San Antonio College, Trinity University, and UTSA. The combined enrollment of the three universities is over 100,000 young adults. In our ministry efforts, we spend time at the various colleges each week, meeting the students where they are and sharing the love of Jesus Christ on campus.

We engage students in projects that help our neighbors, build faithful friendships, explore how God is working in their lives, and encourage them in their academic studies.

Who We Are

The Wesley Foundation of San Antonio (WFSA), previously San Antonio United Methodist Campus Ministry, is an outreach to the students of colleges and universities in the area of San Antonio, Texas. Equipping and serving college students in San Antonio since 1957, we are a non-profit that exists to enable students to encounter God and become disciples of Jesus Christ.

We are currently in ministry to and with students at San Antonio College (SAC), Trinity University, and The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Our hope is to help college students seeking faith on campus through Bible study, worship, mission, discipleship, and fellowship. In addition, we offer a unique opportunity for students and others to engage in civil discourse through our Hot Potato Issues. Field experts, from campus and in and around the community, present on social and political issues, which promote edification and challenge students into faith in action.
