Whispering Acres empowers children and adults with physical, mental, emotional, and social challenges to create more active, healthy and fulfilling lives through animal and equine assisted activities. Whispering Acres is a resource for individuals, families, groups, organizations, schools and the military to utilize experiences to foster positive character, leadership development, Learning and to build sustainable support to achieve continued growth.

Whispering Acres is a unique non-profit organization that offers a dynamic Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) Center alongside a diverse on-site zoo to support a wide range of animal assisted therapies. Our mission is to promote emotional, behavioral, and social growth through Intentional and therapeutic interactions with animals. The EAL Center provides structure, experiential learning opportunities using horses to help individuals build confidence, communication, and problem solving skills. Complementing this, our Zoo features a variety of animals such as goats, rabbits, birds, and reptiles that are incorporated into tailored therapy sessions to meet the needs of children, youth, and adults facing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, developmental delays, or social isolation. By integrating both equine and small animal experiences, our programs offer inclusive, Hands-On support that fosters healing, connection, and a personal growth in a nurturing safe environment.
