We begin by hosting a Shoot Balls NOT Guns Basketball camp

Our Community Engagements are centralized to provide awareness about our other services families can take advantage of to be successful. Our main community event is Shoot Balls NOT Guns basketball series to engage with youth and provide them with extra-curricular basketball activities, mentoring round table discussions, and a free meal.

We have been hosting "SHOOT BALLS NOT GUNS" basketball camps throughout the community all year. Our goal was to help reduce the crime rates within our youth. We offered a full summer program called "WYIP" (Willenium Youth Impact Program) to give youth something productive to do in the while school was out!

We reached over 425 youth this past summer and an additional 400 youth through basketball camps before the summer program. Serving over 800 youth throughout the community validates the need for youth programs in our city.

During this event we educate families about all the services we offer and do on the spot sign ups for mental health counseling., wealth building, and expungement.

Our organization strongly believes that adequate education on financial literacy (wealth building), expungement and mental health are the keys to a sustainable family.

Just think. . .  if you have a criminal record it could impact your ability to work a job or start a career for a livable wage. These families have to work multiple jobs just make ends meet but have the experience and knowledge to engage in a higher quality of work for salaried wages. Just think what expungement could do for this family!

Just think. . . if you have a large family and struggling to make ends meet and don't have basic financial literacy skills you could be losing and wasting a lot of money. With our wealth building services we can provide financial literacy training and education individually and/ or classroom setting and credit restoration. This service can help families get a promotion or a mortgage to help sustain the family.
