Willow Rising

Willow Rising is dedicated to creating new beginnings for those impacted by domestic abuse, sexual violence and human trafficking, by providing safety, support, education, and survivor empowerment. We strive to provide the safest environment possible for all the victims who arrive at our office. Our top priority is to maintain a secure facility for our clients while upholding our responsibility to support the victims and family members of domestic violence, sexual assault, & human trafficking.

In 1977, five concerned citizens of Grand Island came together to determine how to help someone who doesn't have a safe home. This meeting and years of hard work created the Willow Rising, Inc. At the Willow Rising, Inc. we offer a variety of services to help educate, advocate, and eliminate domestic violence in Hall, Hamilton, Merrick, and Howard counties in Nebraska. We provide support, guidance, and education to men, women, and children to live a life free from domestic and sexual violence.

Some of our services include Advocacy, Safe Shelters, Emergency Transportation, Medical Assistance, Legal Assistance, Food and Clothing, Court Support, Support Groups, plus so much more!
