The Wilsall Foundation exists to sustain and strengthen the quality of life in the Shields Valley.

Founded in 2009 by residents who believed in neighbors helping neighbors, the Foundation provides financial support to individuals, families, and community organizations across the Valley. Our work is rooted in a simple idea. When a rural community invests in itself, everyone benefits.

Over the past decade the Foundation has reinvested hundreds of thousands of dollars back into the Shields Valley. These funds have helped families during times of hardship, supported community programs and events, strengthened local schools, and provided scholarships and opportunities for young people.

Because the Foundation is led entirely by local volunteers, every dollar raised stays focused on community impact. We listen carefully to local needs and respond quickly when challenges arise.

Today our work continues to evolve. In addition to providing direct assistance, the Foundation is helping plan for the future of the Shields Valley. Current efforts include community facility improvements and exploring solutions for early childhood care and preschool access so that families can continue to live and thrive in this valley for generations to come.

The Wilsall Foundation belongs to the community it serves. When neighbors come together in support of this work, the entire Shields Valley grows stronger.
